The Department for International Relations at Dimitrie Cantemir Christian University is in charge with developing cooperation agreements and collaborative projects at the international level. The department has initiated international collaboration with universities, research institutions, public entities, cultural institutes, heritage institutions, non-governmental organizations, business environment representatives all around the world.
The Department for International Relations is involved in developing and implementing the policy of international cooperation by coordinating activities in the field of internationalization such as:

- other exchange programs for staff and students
- joint collaborative research activities
- visiting professorships
